[Obituary] Announcement of the Passing of Executive Member of Tajima Motor Corporation Co., Ltd.
We inform you that Mr. Naonobu Tajima, 59, Executive Vice President of Tajima Motor Corporation, passed away on the morning of February 13, 2019, fighting with cancer.
The funeral service will be held at Sunday, February 17 at 12:30PM at Izumo Hall Iwata. Wake will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 6PM. Mr. Naonobu Tajima’s wife Mrs. Noriko Tajima and his brother Mr. Nobuhiro Tajima will be officiating all funeral arrangements.
Mr. Naonobu Tajima was a vital member to the company. In the past he had worked as engineer and designer during Suzuki Motor’s competition at WRC/JWRC and was involved in numerous motorsports activities including the Colorado Springs Pikes Peak Hill Climb Race. In recent, he devoted his work on actively promoting Safe Plus Tsunami/Flood shelters as Project Leader for the wellbeing of society and the noble cause to save lives.
